Chlorella can be used for detoxing or to remove excess water from the body. Spirulina can be used as an anti-oxidant or a supplement to replenish Vitamin Group B, Gamma-linolenic acid. The best method would be to take both for a full recovery of nutrition needed by our bodies.

Q2: Why is Spirulina A+ and Chlorella is A++, what is the difference?

A: Spirulina A+ means it has obtained German Naturland Organic Certification, and Chlorella A++ means it has obtained German Naturland Organic Certification and processed by the patented broken cell wall process. The A stands for top quality, and the +’s are additional quality approval, showing that these products have undergone the toughest quality control and are safe to use.

Q3: Why does Chlorella need to undergo broken cell wall process?

A: Chlorella has a very thick and strong cell wall when the cell wall is not cracked, it is very difficult to be digested. FEBICO’s very own uniquely patented “Low-Pressure Flash Expansion Technique” explodes the cell walls under certain pressures, which increases the digestive rate to more than 80%, which is twice the amount compared to most marketed chlorella. This technique has also obtained a Taiwanese patent (Patent number 183428).

Chlorella and Spirulina need a clean environment with enough sunlight and clean water to grow. Apart from the difference in shape and growing environment, Chlorella and Spirulina also contain large amounts of nutrition of which cannot be matched by larger algae.
