How to make a healthy pizza?

Homemade pizza without gluten, without yeast and no mozzarella? Yes, it’s possible! This time we came up with a new recipe for a quinoa Pizza. Quinoa pizza is not only delicious, it’s also healthy and since it’s gluten free it can be enjoyed by people with gluten intolerance.

Ingredients for 1 small healthy pizza:

Dough:

– 3/4 cup of dry quinoa
– 1/4 cup water
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1/4 teaspoon of salt

Accessories:

– tomato sauce
– 3 slices of hard goat’s cheese
– 1 large tomato
– fresh basil
– salt and pepper

How to prepare a quinoa pizza

Wash quinoa, add to the bowl and pour a glass of water. Soak up quinoa for about 8 hours or overnight. After this time drain it and rinse again.

Put quinoa with baking powder, salt and 1/4 cup of water into the blender and blend it together. A round shape of 20-25 cm in diameter is served with baking paper and pour a pizza pie into it. Remember that the larger the diameter of the mold, the thinner the batter you will get. Bake in a heated to 200 C oven for about 15 min. After this time we remove the mold, turn the cake to the other side and re-bake for 5 to 10 minutes. After removing the dough from the oven we grease with tomato sauce, put fresh tomatoes, basil and slices of goat cheese. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and bring to the oven for another 10 minutes. When the cheese gently melts, our pizza is ready!

Quinoa Pizza will not replace the classic pizza – it’s just two different dishes. But I think that such a fit pizza can be an interesting idea for a healthy dinner.
